2nd Annual "Leukemia SUP Cup" - Stand up Paddle Race!

The SUP Cup is held annually in Tiburon, California, and will be hosted by Corinthian Yacht Club in partnership with 101 Surf Sports. 
On the water activities including stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and a hosted BBQ makes this day unforgettable.

We offer two courses along the scenic Tiburon peninsula for all levels of paddlers, a two mile fun race course for new paddlers and a 6 mile course for advanced racers. Stand up paddle (SUP) boarding beginners are welcome, and access to training is provided as part of your fundraising and registration. Already a pro? We’ve got a course that will top your list of the most beautiful courses in the world.

Prizes and awards for top finishers and fundraisers. All proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Registration Fees and Fundraising:

Raise or Pay $150 per person (with a goal of raising at least $500 person) 

Your registration fee includes:

·       1 SUP class per participant from our partners at 101 Surf Sports at their San Rafael or Redwood City locations.

·       1 Race registration per participant

·       Board Rental for the race & SUP class

·       Post race BBQ at the Corinthian Yacht Club

·       Personalized fundraising page

·       A buttery-soft tee shirt

Where: The Corinthian Yacht Club | 43 Main Street, Tiburon CA, 94920.


Parking: Paid Parking Lot is across the street from the CYC. If you are bringing your own equipment, you can drive into CYC parking lot and drop it off. Then, you will proceed to park your car outside of the CYC parking lot.  If you are "renting" equipment, then please park at the paid lot across the street and walk into the CYC.

LLS staff and volunteers will be there to help check you in and point you in the direction of gear pick-up and pre-race placement.

Timeline: Registration Check In;  8:00 – 9:00am.  Here you will receive your race number and sign a liability form.  All participants must be present for a safety meeting on the dock at 9:15.

  • 10:00am Race will begin promptly 
  • 11:00 am Race finishes. All participants arrive back at CYC.
  • 11-2 pm  Post-race BBQ & Awards Celebration

Additional BBQ tickets can be purchased at the event for $25.


Post-Race: For those who bring your own equipment, there will be a place in the CYC parking lot to store it while enjoying the BBQ and Awards Celebration. We will have someone designated to "babysit" the equipment.

Fundraising: Please share your online fundraising pages on all your social media sites and send emails to your entire network. Our goal is to raise $50,000 and every bit helps to make that happen. Maybe your friends' workplace has a company match program? 

SUPCUP CLINICS are scheduled as follows:
Redwood City: June 24, July 22, and August 26 Training will be from 2:00PM until 4:00PM.

NOTE: Workout clothing please, not cotton, wetsuit is optional. All equipment will be provided. Stand Up Paddleboard or kayak, life jacket and paddle.
